How does a community get started?
Share your existing HOA website or upload your governing documents (bylaws, CC&Rs, etc.). AI rebuilds your community's site in about 5 minutes — pulling design, board info, and rules from what you already have. Review the extracted settings, invite your board, and most communities go live within 30 minutes.
Who is this for?
Self-managed HOAs of any size — from a few lots to a few thousand. If your board runs on Gmail, a shared Drive folder, and whoever happens to remember the rules, VeraHeim replaces that with one system. The self-serve plans (Starter / Board / Growth) cover most communities; very large or multi-board associations should contact us about Enterprise. We're not built for property management companies.
What does "compliance-aware" actually mean?
Two layers of checks. First, state statutes: when you schedule a board meeting, VeraHeim checks the legally required notice period for your state. When you start a violation, the workflow follows your state's notice-and-hearing process. Second, your governing documents: when you upload your bylaws and CC&Rs, AI extracts your community's specific rules — quorum thresholds, voting requirements, fine limits, architectural standards — and checks those too. It's not a legal disclaimer — it's built into the product.
What does AI do?
AI helps during onboarding (importing messy records, classifying documents, extracting rules from your bylaws and CC&Rs), during operations (drafting meeting minutes, generating assessment letters, preparing board packets), and for continuity (making the system easier for the next board member to understand).
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Every community starts with a 12-month free trial of the full Board plan — violations, assessments, compliance automation, AI drafting, everything. No credit card required. When the trial ends, pick the plan that fits: Starter ($19/mo) for the essentials, Board ($29/mo) to keep the full toolkit, or Growth ($49/mo) for larger communities up to 200 lots. Your data and settings carry over either way, and your monthly price is locked for 3 years from the day you convert.
What happens when my trial ends?
You pick a paid plan and keep going at full speed. If you don't pick a plan in time, your workspace enters a 30-day reactivation grace period — the community site stays up, but board members see upgrade prompts before posting announcements, sending email, or running AI features. After the grace period, the public site is paused but board members can still sign in to upgrade or export. Six months after your trial ends with no payment, the workspace is archived and the data is permanently deleted — we'll email you well before that happens. One-click data export is always available. We're generous with off-ramps, but we're not in the business of hosting abandoned sites forever.
Will my price ever go up?
When you convert from trial, your monthly price is locked for 3 years. After that, we may adjust with inflation, but we always give 90 days notice and you can cancel anytime. Founding Members (the first 50 communities to convert) get a permanent 50% discount on the Board tier — that price never changes as long as you stay subscribed.
Is there a discount for paying annually?
Yes. Pay annually instead of monthly and save 15% — same plan, same features, same price lock. Available at any time before or after conversion.
What states are supported?
Florida (Chapter 720) is live with full compliance built into meeting notices, violation workflows, assessment tracking, and document visibility. Washington (RCW 64.90 / WUCIOA) is next — including the 2028 transition from RCW 64.38. The core platform works anywhere; state-specific compliance modules add the legal guardrails.
